SUMMARY
Abbey Road was retained by JBG to manage the second stage entitlements process and coordinate land development permitting for this multi-phase, mixed-use development located at the intersection of Shady Grove Road and I-270 in Rockville. By applying our expertise in multifamily and mixed-use product types and our knowledge of the approvals and permitting process in the local jurisdiction, we were able to modify existing master plan approvals to provide a more economic product type, and ensure that final approvals reflect a more market-oriented and cost effective design. Services included managing the consultant team, representing the owner in meetings and public hearings with the City, and directing design and product concept development.
