SUMMARY

The JBG Companies is the master developer of the Upper Rock District, a new mixed-use neighborhood at the intersection of I-270 and Shady Grove Road in Rockville which is designed to appeal to the "creative class" -- technology workers and entrepreneurs who are a critical component of the local economy. Abbey Road is partnering with JBG to develop blocks G & H within the Upper Rock District as a high-density, wood-frame rental community, with parking tucked under each of the two buildings and the plaza which runs between them in a "podium" format. This project will be a green building earning 26 points under the LEED scoring system for environmental sustainability.
